President

Mr. Treadway has been the President of Rancho Christian School for 17 years. He attended San Diego Christian and Biola University for his undergraduate work in Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at USC. Under his leadership, Rancho Christian moved from a 7-acre campus to our current 35-acre campus, growing from 270 students to 1,100 students today. Mr. Treadway’s passion is to see students achieve their highest and best outcomes at Rancho Christian and beyond, changing the world around them for the better as Christ-centered leaders. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 29 years. All four of their children have attended Rancho. (Classes of 2016, 2018, and 2026)

Board Chair

Ms. Rhay joined the Rancho Christian School Board in 2020. She holds a BS in Molecular Biology and an MBA both from California State University San Marcos. She is the Vice President of Compliance for a large BPO firm. A native Californian, Ms. Rhay has lived in Temecula since 2004. Both of her parents were educators, which strongly informs her background and perspective as a board member. She has two children who attend Rancho Christian School. (Classes of 2022 and 2024)

Vice-Chair

Mrs. Vaniman joined the Rancho Christian School Board for the first time in 2012. After taking a short hiatus in 2020, she rejoined the board in 2022. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s Degree in physical therapy from Chapman University. She is a physical therapist/ergonomic specialist at Kaiser Permanente. Mrs. Vaniman and her husband, Don, are active with the Rancho Christian robotics program. They have two children who attended Rancho from preschool through graduation. (Classes of 2018 and 2020)

Secretary

Mrs. Goodwin has been on the Rancho Christian School Board since 2021. She holds a degree in business from the University of the Pacific where she also played field hockey. She went on to receive her MBA from the University of Redlands. She has been in Human Resources for over 25 years and is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for a home health and hospice company. She also has her own Human Resources consulting and Home Staging companies. Mrs. Goodwin and her husband, Eric, have two children who have both attended Rancho since Kindergarten. (Classes of 2020 and 2024)

Mr. Nakakihara has been on the Rancho Christian School Board since 2016 and has been an elder at Rancho Community Church since 2006. He holds a degree in Spanish with a linguistics emphasis and also an MBA from California State University Fullerton. He has a wide range of professional experience in education, sales, management, business administration, operations, programming, and executive management. He was an Associate Professor at Mount San Jacinto College in both computer science and business. He currently works as a special education teacher in Banning. Mr. Nakakihara and his wife, Lisa, have attended Rancho Community Church since 1996. He has also served on the General Synod for the Reformed Church in America. They have one son.

Mrs. Hargis joined the Rancho Christian School Board in 2022 and has been a member of the Rancho Community Church board since 2019. She attended American University and Willamette University and carries degrees in political science and chemistry. She also completed post-baccalaureate work in accounting. She has worked in the fields of policy formation and accounting. She is currently retired and contributes widely to the community as a volunteer. She also deeply enjoys life with her children and grandchildren. She and her husband, Steve, have four children, three of whom are married. One son-in-law was a member of the inaugural graduating class at Rancho Christian school in 2012.

Mr. Sammons joined the Rancho Christian School Board in 2021. He attended California State University Fullerton where he was led into the Risk Management Industry. For over 20 years he has specialized in both Maritime and nonprofit Risk Management Consulting and Loss Control, where he has contributed to many organizations’ journeys toward greater success. Mr. Sammons and his wife, Terri, are deeply committed to raising their two children to know God’s truth and purpose in their lives. Both children attend Rancho. (Classes of 2024 and 2026)

Mr. Swanson is a retired high school educator and administrator. He served 34 years in ministry in the Lutheran school system, after which he accepted a Call to Rancho Christian School to be Principal of the high school and middle school. He spent three years serving in that position until he retired in 2019. Craig enjoys golfing, biking, and spending time with his wife Carin. They have one daughter, Tessa,  who is also an educator.
