enrichment at Rancho
Enrichment at Rancho is a place where students are able to explore new activities, stimulate their minds, feel empowered, be engaged, and know who they are in Christ.
We truly believe that “play is the work of children.” Through play, children develop physically, cognitively, linguistically, and socially. Our young Eagles have the opportunity to experience all of this each day from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM pm with the programs and services of Enrichment at Rancho. The RCS Enrichment staff works diligently to partner with parents, teachers, and students on this wonderful educational journey.
“Enrichment at Rancho” is a suite of offerings designed to enhance a student’s Rancho experience beyond the classroom. These offerings are provided in a safe and fun environment with caring staff and instructors. There are three distinct opportunities that comprise the program, each providing its own unique value to the student experience:
Electives, Activities & Special Events, Camps, and Before & After School Care

Enrichment Activities and Special Events:
A few times during the year, Enrichment at Rancho will host several events on campus in an effort to advance school spirit. Each event varies in size and scope, but kids and fun are always the priority. Examples of these events are:
TEACHERS VS. STUDENTS
Grades K-6
Open to all RCS students, Teachers vs. Students is a free, monthly event that takes place during school. Teachers and students battle it out to see who will reign supreme in these games. Each grade level takes a turn hosting the event and light “trash talking” is encouraged!
Games to look forward to are: Dodgeball, “Minute to Win It” Games, Kickball, Relay games, obstacle courses, and much more.
EXTREME KIDS NIGHT OUT
Grades K-7
Extreme Kids Night Out events are designed as “No Parents Allowed Zones.” Kids love to send their parents out for some quality time with one another while they learn, play and explore with old and new friends. Trained Enrichment staff will guide kids through a night of adventure, while parents have a fun night to themselves. Each EKNO event has a theme for the night and a wide range of age appropriate activities.
Enrichment Camps
Grades K-7
Throughout the school year and summer, Enrichment at Rancho hosts a variety of camps that take place on campus. Each camp is designed around a theme to engage children, broaden their horizons, encourage creativity, and get a little messy. Camps are an outlet for young learners to explore, while keeping their curious minds sharp, during breaks from school. For each camp day, parents can choose from three time frames (Mornings, Afternoons or Full-Day), to best meet their family’s needs.
CAMPS TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

RCS Staff Development Days Camps
Families with full schedules can take advantage of our Before and After School Care. With low staff-to-student ratios, and opportunities to participate in exciting learning activities, Before and After School Care is a great way for students to be loved and cared for while mom and dad begin or finish the workday. In addition to snacks and general playtime, during the week, students can look forward to participating in awesome activities, games, and crafts daily.
h2 Club: Of course, students get homework done so family time at home can be just that. “h2 Club” (Homework Help) takes place Mondays – Thursdays.
Enrichment Staff
COURSE INSTRUCTORS
Instructors for Electives and Express Electives are carefully selected to lead their classes. Whether the class is categorized as Academic, Athletic, Art, or Leadership; high caliber, passionate individuals who are advanced in their fields are sought out to inspire our students. All instructors are background checked prior to teaching any class, and have experience teaching children in all grade levels.
PROGRAM STAFF
The Enrichment at Rancho staff are individuals who love children and look forward to opportunities to show them God’s amazing, unconditional love. Prior to hiring, all staff members must pass an extensive background check through the Department of Justice and FBI. In addition, all staff members are CPR and First Aid Certified.
