TK-4th GRADES
Lower Elementary consists of Transitional Kindergarten through 4th Grade. Our TK is designed to give children the tools they need as they move from Preschool into Elementary, such as hands-on learning, friendship-building, number sense, and other foundational learning skills.
As students progress through the lower grades they are introduced to different learning styles and multiple intelligences in their classrooms. We provide a low student to teacher ratio based on grade level with teachers creating an environment of high academic standards balanced with care and personal attention.
Technology is a large part of our Elementary learning. Students utilize iPads and computers in the classroom and at home depending on grade level. The retention of essential knowledge as well as higher order thinking skills are evaluated through a variety of learning activities within the classroom, field trips, and at-home projects.
In addition, an allocation of in-class elective instruction time has been incorporated into each grade level's schedule. This also includes weekly elective classes for students to enrich skills in other areas outside of the classroom such as music, art, Spanish, STEM, and P.E.
