Head Football Coach Kenric Jameison

“I can’t guarantee wins and losses, but I do know we will establish a program that develops great Christian Athletes. I know what is going on in many sports programs and there is nothing more important than to start one where positive development for our young high school students is central. Building character, accountability and responsibility in each student is essential to future success. We will foster in each athlete a developing university readiness and life preparedness that will help create leaders for the future, while building great memories that will last a lifetime. In two years or less I believe most teens in our valley will want to be enrolled at Rancho Christian High School.”

Coach Jameison is excited to be our head football coach, and is ready to build a winning legacy.

This performance earned him Super Bowl MVP honors despite having to sit out the second quarter due to a migraine, an affliction he has suffered since childhood.  In 1998 Davis rushed for 2,008 yards, then the third highest rushing total in history. This performance earned him league MVP honors, his third straight AFC rushing title, his first NFL rushing title, and his second time being named NFL Offensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press. At the end of the season, the Broncos beat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII, with Davis recording 102 rushing yards and 50 receiving yards. Speed Coach Tyree Washington
Tyree Washington has won many prestigious awards throughout his high school, college, and professional career. As a junior in high school, he was the 1994 state long jump champion, and in 1995, his senior year, he was an all state defensive back. Tyree was recruited by almost every major university in the United States to play football.

Tyree remained optimistic about playing football but decided to try his talents in Track and field as a 400 meter specialist. In 1997, he attended San Bernardino Valley College in California and trained with his college coaches in the 400 meters. In May of that year, Tyree broke the Junior college national record in the 400 meters, the California state record in the 400 meters, and was ranked 2nd in the world behind Michael Johnson. In August of 1997, Tyree went on to win the 400 meters at the Outdoor National Championships in Indiana, and months later he won a bronze in the 400 meters at the Outdoor World Championships in Athens, Greece. At the end of 1997, Tyree, a novice to the event, was ranked 4th in the world in the 400 meters, an accomplishment that he never anticipated.

Tyree had much success in college as a 400 meter specialist and still had dreams of playing football in the National Football League. In March of 1999, his childhood dream came true when he signed with the San Diego Chargers to play wide receiver and defensive back. Everything was going as planned for Tyree, until he sprained his right knee, causing him to be sidelined. Although Tyree recovered from his injury, to his disappointment was waived from the team.  Tyree was very grateful for the opportunity afforded to him by the Chargers organization to showcase his talents and accomplish his dream, but  in September of 1999, Tyree went back to Track and Field and applied all the hard work and ethics he learned from the Chargers, causing him to become an extremely tough competitor in the 400 meters event.  He became World champion in the 400 meters in St. Denis, France ranking number one in the world at 400 meters. Years later, Tyree added two more world titles to his belt. In 2005, he won Outdoor World Athletic Finals in the 400 meters, and in 2006, he won Indoor World in 4×400 relay.

He is now retired from Track and Field and loves spending quality time with his wife Monica, his son Malik and two daughters Tyra and Mia.

Tyree is very excited about being on the coaching staff – “guiding students, mentoring them, planting a positive seed in them that will last the rest of their lives.”  He will be in charge of speed and conditioning as well as working with Defensive Backs.
