Spiritual Life

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

At Rancho Christian, our desire is to create a healthy spiritual growth environment for our students, faculty and staff. This is not simply accomplished with a regularly scheduled Bible class or a daily prayer. We consider ourselves a family, and a family of families, which translates to a community on our campus. This community is made up from many different people who are at different points in their spiritual journeys. So it is with much grace and love that we live day to day on our campus. We strive to live out the truths of the Bible, the “one another’s”:
  • Accept one another (Romans 15:7)
  • Admonish one another (Colossians 3:16)
  • Bear one another’s burderns (Galations 6:2)
  • Bear with one another (Ephesians 4:2)
  • Build up one another (Romans 14:9)
  • Care for one another (1 Corinthians 12:25)
  • Comfort one another (1 Thessalonians 4:18)
  • Confess faults to one another (James 5:16)
  • Be devoted to one another (Romans 12:10)
  • Encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
  • Forgive one another (Ephesians 4:32)
  • Greet one another (Romans 16:16)
  • Be honest with one another (Colossians 3:9)
  • Honor one another (Romans 12:10)
  • Be hospitable to one another (1 Peter 4:9)
  • Be kind to one another (Ephesians 4:32)
  • Love one another (Romans 13:8)
  • We are members of one another (Romans 12:5)
  • Pray for one another (James 5:16)
  • Be of the same mind as one another (Romans 15:5)
  • Serve one another (Galatians 5:13)
  • Spur one another on (Hebrews 10:24)
  • Submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21)

Some of the ways we accomplish these on our campus are:

  • Weekly Chapels taught by our Pastors, leadership, and special guest speakers. We utilize this time to practically apply biblical truth and encourage our student body to continue to follow Christ in their everyday lives.
  • Pastors & Ministry Staff on campus. Each week we have members of our Ministry staff on campus building relationships with our student body, teaching at chapels, and mentoring & counseling with our students.
  • Teacher & Student relationships. Our teachers are truly considered “ministers” and approach their relationships with students as more than just instructors. Our faculty truly love and care for their students, and go above and beyond their job description when it comes to fostering spiritual life.
  • Faculty Devotions. All of our faculty take part in weekly staff devotions, where they are continually given tools to grow and apply Biblical truth to their lives and to their classrooms.
  • Service Projects. We work hand in hand with Rancho Community Church and partners such as the Temecula Murrieta Rescue Mission to provide opportunities for our students to serve their community and their world. As they serve, they develop a lifestyle of humility and service, following in the example of Christ.
  • Family Relations Office. Our Family Relations Office is available to all of our families to help in any situations our school families may find themselves, whether families are struggling at school, or home – we want to provide support to see our families thrive and be healthy.

We specifically put forth extra efforts to grow students spiritually because we want to prepare them for God’s calling on their lives, not just their school years. We want to see students move onto the next stage of their lives grounded in their faith and prepared for the joys and challenges of the future.
