Parents

Vision for Parents
We highly value the parents and families of Rancho Christian and our aim to have a healthy, loving relationship with every family. We are not simply an educational institution, but a family, comprised of families, therefor, our approach to family relations comes from a deep desire to strengthen one another; our school enriching the lives of our families, and our families enriching the experience of our school. We accomplish this by living the following values out:

  • Partnership
As a school, we see ourselves as partners in raising and educating children. We work together, in community, to develop, train, and teach our children, both at home and at school.
  • Service
We desire to offer the best service possible, from our faculty, staff, and administration. Like Christ, we aim to serve one another in humility and love. We also ask that parents feel an obligation to serve their school. We want to mutually serve one another and enrich one another.
  • Respect
We as a school respect parents, understanding that they love, know, and understand their children better than anyone else. We seek to always speak and act in a way that never usurps the authority or dignity of our parents. We also ask that our parents respect our faculty and staff, who are trained and highly qualified in their areas of expertise.

Understanding that we are partners, serving one another and respecting one another, creates an environment where we work together to find common solutions for the betterment of our students.

A Community of Parents
Our parents are an integral part of the ministry of Rancho Christian, and we highly encourage every family to serve in at least one parent group. Parents work in small focus-based volunteer groups whose mission is to encourage and support the student body, staff and families of Rancho Christian. These groups of parents are dedicated to providing the Rancho Christian community with a wide range of supportive activities which are designed to facilitate and synergize the our mission of providing a biblically-based education.  Some of these include the Fall Carnival, Christmas Store, Book Fair, Meet the Masters art education and Teacher Appreciation just to name a few.

Parent groups meet at various times monthly, and together once a month with our Director of Admissions & Family Relations, Alex McLean in order to stay unified in vision and to have the latest information on our schools. See the list below for our current parent groups, and email us or contact our Admissions department at 951.303.1408 x370 to get involved.
