Mission & Vision

Vision
Rancho Community Christian School will help students grow up in Christ, skilled in reading, thinking, and rhetoric, prepared to seek out truth, to find answers to difficult questions, not conforming to the pattern of this world but to see the world with a transformed mind, knowing God’s good and perfect will.

Student Vision
We aim to grow and train young men and women of virtue and honor who demonstrate discernment and understanding, who reason and articulate clearly, who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experience in the light of the Word of God, and who do so with eagerness in joyful submission to God. We desire they be sensitive to the needs of others, socially and spiritually gracious, loving without condition; physically healthy; equipped with the tools of learning; desiring to grow in understanding, yet fully realizing the limitations and foolishness of the wisdom of this world. We desire they have a heart for the lost and the courage to seek to dissuade those who are stumbling towards destruction; that they distinguish personal faith from religion in form only; and that they possess the former, knowing and loving the Lord Jesus Christ. And all these we desire them to possess with humility and gratitude to God.

Faculty and Staff Vision
We desire the same vision for our faculty and staff as for our students as they enter into this partnership of learning and growing in joyful submission to God. At the same time, we seek to provide for them equitably, providing support and care. We desire them to be professional and diligent in their work and manners, gifted in teaching, loving their students and their subjects; that they possess a lifelong hunger to learn and grow; and that they have opportunity to be refreshed and renewed. We desire to see them coach and nurture new staff and to serve as academic mentors to students. We look to see them mature in Christ, growing in the knowledge of God, and raising their own children to walk with the Lord.

Parent Vision
We aim to cultivate in our parents a sense of responsibility for the school; to see them well informed about the goals of our Christ-centered approach. We desire them to grow with the school, involved in and excited about the journey. We will also encourage parents to support the faculty and staff in word and deed and to support the general mission and philosophy of the school. Our plan for the relationship between parents and school is really wrapped up in these three ideas:

  • Partnership
  • Service
  • Resepect

Community Vision
Finally, in our relationship with our community, we aim to be above reproach in our business dealings and supportive of the local business community and public schools. We will continue to foster a partnership with other Christian schools within our community, recognizing we strive for the same goal of training children in the things of Christ and therefore we do not consider them as competitors. We further seek to exemplify the unity of the body of Christ, to develop greater fellowship and understanding with local churches, and to bring honor to our Lord in all our endeavors.
