I am a Biola University graduate, where I earned a BA in English Secondary Education.  I am passionate about learning, and then transferring that which I’ve learned to my students.  My most recent learning endeavors have been in student leadership, and I’m excited to embark in a fun new adventure this year with the ASB, as we help Rancho students and families reach out and bless others for Christ.   I am so blessed to have found Rancho and be used their for God’s glory, as the school grows and develops more each year!

Leslee Meyer: Drama

Education:B.A. English, B.A. Theatre, Concordia University                                                                                                Biography:      Leslee Meyers recently moved back to California after living the last two years in downtown Seattle.  She graduated from Concordia University, Irvine with a B.A. in both Theatre and English, which included a study abroad  opportunity studying Theatre in London.  She was also extensively involved in the university’s music and theatre departments, school newspaper, and athletics. Her first teaching  job after graduating college was aboard a cruise ship as an English teacher to the Dining Room crew, where she met her husband, Fabian. They married in Temecula in August of 2008.

As a teacher at Rancho Chrisitan School Leslee hopes to bring creativity,  inspiration, and performance to her classroom.  She wants students to open their minds to new interpretations of their own creation to theatre and writing, and to  make performance a fun activity by presenting information in a variety of ways appealing to all students. She will be teaching middle school Drama and eleventh grade Writing Experience and Drama, as well as assisting in athletics and performing arts activities.                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Karen Rahn: PE 6

My name is Karen Rahn and I am extremely blessed to have been a part of the RCS family for five years now. I teach elementary and middle school PE and I also coach girls volleyball and basketball. I absolutely LOVE teaching PE, and I thank God every day that I get to do what I do. I enjoy watching my students grow, learn new skills, have fun, and be active. I attended San Diego State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. A year later I received my teaching credential, while teaching at an inner-city school in San Diego. In 2009, I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with my Master’s Degree in Physical Education.

“After years in the laboratory, God led me to pursue my teaching credential, where I could combine my passion  for science and education.  He then led me to the doorstep of Rancho Christian School.  I feel incredibly blessed to be able to teach His children.  God’s creation never ceases to amaze me and I truly enjoy watching  students’ eyes as they are amazed aw well.”
