Discovering how to address the learning differences of individual children has become increasingly recognized in recent years. It is not unusual to have a learning center in a private school. It is our desire to offer a program which supports children’s individualized needs so that they can reach their full potential. The Discovery Center offers students instructional support, cognitive therapy, and other services designed to improve the student’s academic experience and to reduce the effects of factors that might otherwise undermine the child’s ongoing success.
The RCS Discovery Center offers expertise in a variety of disciplines: assessments, diagnostics, remediation, monitoring of progress, teacher education, curriculum development, and an understanding of the importance of the motivated ability patterns and executive functioning of each child. These various roles are at the heart of a multi-disciplinary learning center and it is to these different factors that Learning Rx has made a commitment to RCS.
