About

Welcome to Rancho Christian Schools

Rancho Christian is proud to Christ-centered, quality, private preschool (Sonshine) through high school education. Our preschool has been serving children ages 2 to 6 since 1981 and 2012 will be our very first graduating Senior Class. Rancho Christian School has grown over the decades to extend this tradition of personal growth and learning through the 12th grade. We also are the home of Rancho Community Church. Our church has been serving the Temecula & Murrieta Valley for over 40 years.

We realize that choosing a school is an important decision for parents and we want to do our best to share with you the advantages of a private education with Rancho Christian. Below are some of our core distinctives and values that drive the school.

Christ Centered Education

At Rancho Christian School we aim to serve parents in the life development of their children by creating vital relationships with youth pastors, mentors, community leaders, and local and global ministries. These partnerships will provide students with environments that will help shape their worldview and develop Christ-honoring adults, equipped for the life that awaits them.  This world is an incredibly complex maze of worldviews, faiths, temptations, questions, conflicts and values. Graduating an academically competent student does not necessarily mean a school has adequately equipped a student with a heart of wisdom. It is our desire to graduate both excellent students and wise young men and women.

  • The planned class size for second-fifth grades is 24 students. We allow up to 26 students to enroll into these grades allowing for attrition.
  • The planned class size for sixth-twelfth grades is 28 students. We allow up to 30 students to enroll into these grades allowing  for attrition.

In rare cases we will have no attrition through the year, resulting in one or two students higher than our target class size.  High classroom efficiency is how we are able to keep tuition lower than many schools. Every class is assessed for efficiency and individual student care. When deemed necessary by teachers and administration, additional staff may support classes. The care and quality of attention for each student is of the highest priority for Rancho Christian Schools.
