Parent Hours – Just a reminder to get your 20 parent hours completed by April 1st to avoid the $200 fee. Don’t wait!! Driving for events counts towards parent hours! You can help in many ways: campus events, lunch duty, sporting events , science fair, cross walk – crossing guard, cleaning , lunch, projects on campus. The library could really use your help from now until the book fair coming up. Any hours that you can give to the library is appreciated. Community Service Hours – Just a reminder that RCHS students are required to fulfill 60 hours of community service to graduate. Forms and service suggestions are in the HS office. Forms MUST be completed and signed to get credit for the service hours.
Fine Arts Needs: We are in need of the following items for the upcoming performance from the RCS Fine Arts Department. If you have any of these props please let me know! Borrowing, rather than purchasing, helps us financially! Thank-you for your support! “Borrowing Dates” March 1 – March 11 contact: beryla@starand.net Needs:Menorah, (3) Metal rolling garment clothes racks, Wood coat rack, Old leather type medical bag, Old fashion radio 40’s type, Small light table either 36” square, diameter or rectangular, Lightweight floor easel, Lightweight 2 seat sofa or settee, I know this is a long shot…..(2) NAZI military jackets
Jr/Sr Prom - Tickets go on sale March 26-30th – $75 p/p, prices go up after these dates. Prom will be held at the beautiful Wilson Creek Winery in the Barrel Room on April 27th.
AP Exam Schedule – AP exams will be held in May. Spanish – 5/8, Calculus – 5/9, English – 5/10. Cost is $87 per exam. Deadline to sign up is 3/29.
Class of 2013 Parents & Students: We are starting a new tradition at RCHS. The Junior class will provide and serve a pancake breakfast for the outgoing Seniors. This breakfast is scheduled for June 8th from 9:00-10:00am. If you would like to help, please let Mrs. Rodda know soon. The planning has begun.
IMPORTANT – Effective Immediately – Our school building will be locked every school day at 4:00pm. If your student is here after 4:00pm, they will wait outside (sports excluded).
Personal Belongings - Lockers are provided for students to place their belongings in. Please do not leave backpacks, purses, Nooks, phones, etc. unattended at anytime. This includes during sports practice, lunch, p.e., chapel and tutoring, etc.
Absences – Please remember to call and report your child’s absence. If you do not, your child will be considered truant and will receive a zero for that day/class and will receive a detention. As a reminder, the absence line is 303-1408. ext 4.
